Join us for "Humanity," Yaya Por Vida’s fourth annual Art as Healing Pop-Up Art Auction on May 18th at Archive 79 Art Gallery from 3 to 7 PM, a transformative event dedicated to the power of unity and compassion. We will celebrate the life of Jeanie Williams, a beloved member of the Florida Harm Reduction Collective, and our sister artist, Yaritza "Yaya" Rollan, a Miami native. Funds raised will support the restoration of our Overdose Awareness community mural, honoring these two beautiful souls and others lost to the war on drugs.

 

The event will feature a Sunset Drum Circle Vigil, symbolizing our journey of reflection and connection. As we delve into the depths of the concept of Humanity, amidst a world rife with turmoil—genocide, racism, and stigma around mental health and substance use—we choose to affirm our shared humanity. Through art, we confront societal injustices and stand united against dehumanization. Let's gather to celebrate our interconnectedness, recognizing that by embracing one another, we discover strength, resilience, and the true essence of being human. All proceeds will support our Art as Healing programs and the Art as Healing Collective Fund.
